Aldi Pina Colada Review

New from Aldi’s this Summer is this Del Rivo branded Pina Colada “Juice Drink” which is “A deliciously fruity blend of pineapple, coconut, white grape and lemon” and is available in 750ml plastic bottles for the interductory price of £1.49(regular price £1.89)

Its very pineappley, OK that’s not surprising but its more than I expected and its sweet, very sweet. I always know when a product has lots of sugar(s) in it because one of my back teeth always shoots me a sharp kick pain for 2 seconds. I should get it checked out but I find its a good indicator when reviewing stuff. Anyways back to the drink, its you know what disaapointing. I know its supposed to be predominantly pineapple but it should have more of a tropical taste, this drink lacks it. You can barely taste the creamy coconut which is a big part of a pina colada and sometimes this drinks feels like youre just drinking an overly sweet pineapple juice. I bet if you did a blindfold test you’d think it was. Anyways its too sweet and not tropically enough for me and not good enough to use my rum on, I could do a better mix myself.
