Tesco 16 Mini Sponge Rolls Review

REVIEW

For some reason(I guess because they were in the freezer cabinet), I thought these were meant to be eaten straight from the box frozen. I had a few and was about to tell you that these were a bland and almost tasteless product until the other tester said “Wait until you defrost them dumb ass!” as is stated on the box.

OK, so once defrosted they do taste good, nothing fantastic, but slightly addictive. The Blackforest roll does have a slight Blackforest taste and you can taste some of the jam and the cream ones taste like the good old arctic roll. For a quid they are not a bad pick up and are OK for a party or after dinner snack but I don’t think it’s something you’ll be adding to your shopping list week in week out.
