Asda Vegetarian Chickpea & Spinach Soup
Part of Asda’s new Good and Balanced Soups which also include Chicken Curry Soup and Lentil, Chicken & Tomato Soup. This soup does taste like a curry with no spice and the chickpeas that are quite numerous in number are hard, dry and tasteless which also describes most of the soup. I know lentils are not packed with flavour and many tinned vegetarian soups are not the most tasty of things but this soup apart from the curry flavour is totally bland and watery. The other ingredients like the tomatoes, spinach, apple & red peppers are barely noticeable. If you’re looking for a high quality vegetarian lentil soup then check out our review of Amys Vegetarian Soup.
