John West Infusions Soy & Ginger Review

This sounded like an interesting flavoured tuna. It’s not as fishy as some tuna and it does contain high quality succulent tuna chunks(the pic above is when first opened but once mixed with a fork the chunks were clearly visible) of what you would expect from a John West premium product. It’s quite a small tin and you won’t make more than a sandwich or something two sided but it does contain the flavours as mentioned on the tin.

The intial flavour is of a sharp almost cheek watering lemon type flavour which eventually turns into the ginger tuna flavour with a deep soy taste the background. All that sounds great but its not really strong enough. You can taste these gentle flavours when you eat it on its own but when put on bread, crackers etc… you can barely taste the flavours. I guess its good in a packed lunch to be eaten straight out the tin but in a sandwich its not worth it and you’d be better off for the price getting a cheap tuna, adding your own flavours and doing it to your own taste and style.
