Lidl Speedfast Chicken Burger Review
Lidl have their own brand of Rustlers type microwaveable snacks now under the brand of Speedfeast. This is the Chicken Burger from the range and measures up to around 10cm in diameter, with a flame grilled chicken burger(84% chicken) and comes with a generous sized portion of seasoned Mayo for 89p.
The bread is soft and not too chewy which is always a plus and not too bready as its easy to crush down in your hands as you eat this burger. The initial flavours are good and are of a creamy chicken soup with bread like flavour mostly of the overflowing Mayo which has a good rich taste to it like a salad cream/mayo mix. The chicken lets it down a bit as the flavour isn’t that strong(and gets lost with the abundance of Mayo) and the burger itself is quite thin and the flame grilled taste only comes every now and then. Overall its an average chicken burger, not very filling(I feel like I could eat 3 or 4) and even though its 89p I would probably would pass on it.
