Iceland Veggie Burgers Review
These Iceland veggie burgers come 4 in a box for a pound and measure up 8.5cm by 8.5cm and almost 1cm thick. They are covered with a thin deepfried breadcrumb crust that has a vegetable oil like taste but the insides are packed with vegetable flavour. The green bean veg is the dominant flavour followed the corn, carrot and onion. It also has cauliflower, red peppers and peas inside and as you can see in the pic above, each burger has a good mix of ingredients(45% veg) and so does the flavour. The burger is a bit dry but has lots of flavour, mostly a vegetable flavour but also a very full food like flavour.
Do I like it? Yes, I do and I’m not vegetarian but they are nice enough for me not to care if they have meat or not. I think the flavour makes a refreshing change and I wouldnt be crying into my ketchup if these were on my plate instead of beef burgers.
Would I buy it again? Of course, for the taste, for the price, for the quality, its a no brainer.
