Iceland Hunters Chicken Chips and Vegetables Review

For the price, Iceland generally have a good value ready meal selection so any additions is always welcome but you’d have to have a serious sweet tooth and love of sweet BBQ sauce to enjoy this one. Its the sauce, as soon as you taste it, it indulges you in that sickly sweet honey BBQ flavour but its more like a sauce than a just a squirt so it overwhelms everything. It really is sweet. The 8 pieces of chicken included is the usual microwave style taste, the chips were OK, taste like micro chips but were OK and the veg was soft but the corn overwhelmed any pea like taste.

But the sauce is just something else, you may like it or you may think its disgusting, its like watered down honey BBQ sauce with an added lump of 2 of sugar. The 4 people who tried it didn’t like it and I don’t think its something I would buy ever again even for 75p. And I know for £1.50 what did I expect? but the thing is the rest of the meal is OK its just this crazy sauce that’s the killer blow.
