Aldi Parsnip Crisps Review
REVIEW
Aldi’s have quite a range of gourmet crisps including Beetroot, Vegetable and these Parsnip crisps which are “…hand cooked in Sunflower Oil in small batches, cooked to perfection and then lightly seasoned with Garlic and Rosemary for a fragrant taste.”
First impressions are that although its a biggish pack, there didn’t seem to be that many crisps in there(total pack fit in the bowl in the pic). The crisps themselves are thinly cut and crispy but immediately give off a strong salty taste before the Garlic and Rosemary combine for a nice flavour that mixes well with the slight sweetness of the parsnip but the saltiness(which is stronger in some crips more than others) quite spoils the experience. So if it wasn’t for that, it would be a really good crisp but unfortunately the sometimes overwhelming and unhealthy saltiness knocks it down a peg.

Opened a bag of these at the weekend and ended up throwing most of them away. Way too much salt and garlic- and we love both! Could not taste the parsnip at all. A real shame as the actual crisps were a lovely texture.
Hi, I totally agree that there is way too much salt but the parsnip flavours are there.
