Stoats Raspberry & Honey Oats Bar Review
Based on the Scottish dessert Cranachan, these 50g Oat bars are made using Scottish Oats and real fruit and are sold individually or in packs of 4 and measure 9.5cm X 3.5cm.
Straight away you get a creamy, sweet oats flavour packed with a burst of berry flavours. It almost tastes like a shortbread biscuit at times because of the rich butter flavour that it gives off. It definitely is a sweet bar, maybe too much at times and I was surprised to see bits of Pumpkin Seeds and Sultanas packed in, and the berry bursts are delicious in tandem with the sultanas and really add to the flavour. I really like this bar and its definitely one of the tastiest oat/health bars I have tasted and reviewed but the sweetness content makes me believe it can’t be all that healthy and at 22% Fat and 22% Sugars I actually thought it would be higher. Nevertheless, most similar bars have similar type Nutrition Values and given a choice, this for me flavourwise, is one the better ones out there.
