Tesco Apple & Blueberry Granola Review
New from Tesco is this granola with added apple and blueberries and sweetened with honey. I’m guessing they are supposed to be clusters but it is a mix of large clusters and bits and I was a bit disappointed by the amount of blueberries. But on its own this granola is nice, it has a good sweet honey and grain taste and is not too chewy like many other granola. But I’m not tasting the apple or blueberry at all.
When milk is added, as mentioned, the granola has a good taste, enjoyable and sweet enough that no further sugar is needed. But once again, the apple and blueberry are more or less nowhere to be found and that is very poor from Tesco, other supermarkets with similar own brand products have strong apple tastes in their granola so there should be no excuses from Tesco. The blueberries, I could kind of understand as they are expensive ingredients so the lack of numbers in the granola is down to cost, but for the apple taste their should be no excuse. That being said it is an enjoyable and good tasting granola but if you didn’t know any better you wouldn’t think it was an apple and blueberry granola. No way!
