McCoys Chips Salt & Vinegar Review
New from McCoys is the Chips range of crisps in 3 flavours: Chip Shop Salt & Vinegar, Chip Shop Sea Salt & Chip Shop Curry. This one is the Chip Shop Salt & Vinegar and I was surprised how they look. I expected thick Chipstick type crisps but these are thinish, small crinkled crisps.
They taste like a cross between Smiths Squares Salt & Vinegar Crisps and Chipsticks crisps (salt & vinegar). They are salty, malty and sharp in vinegar. They would make a good pub type snack especially with a beer and are quite moorish at first but the more you eat, the more the vinegar hits and tingles your tongue and the salt dries up you lips and it does gets a bit too much, a bit too strong. Overall I do like the taste, it takes me back to the days of eating Squares crisps but maybe its too just a bit too strong for my tastes.
