Pom Pomegranate Juice Review
I’ve always wanted to try Pom Pomegranate juice with its funky bottle design, I’ve seen it advertisied for a couple of years now and never really took the plunge but since I’m reviewing I thought why not, plus the company is paying for it anyways. Win-win.
First of all, I know what natural pomegranate tastes like, I’ve been eating pomegranate fruit since I was a kid and I know it can give you a burst of unique taste which can quickly turn sharpish so I kind of already knew what to look out for but since many people haven’t tried it and will try this drink as their first experience of pomegranate I will be totally reviewing like a newbie.
Straight away you get a strong flavour in your tastebuds almost like a strong port or wine but with a unique powerful pomegranate(strong berry like) flavour which turns dry then BAM! that sharpness hits you so much so that you have to go “Hahhhhh” and not in a laughing way, in an exhaling way. It almost brings tears to your eyes, OK, that may be a bit dramatical but it is one of the shapest and bitterist aftertastes that exist in juice drinks. But thats pomegranate, thats how it is, and since this drink is made from 100% pomegranates thats what your gonna get and expect no less.
Do I like it? Yes, I do but it’s too much, why the bottle is so big(710ml) I don’t know, maybe because of the shape but whatever it is, pomegranate juice is a strong juice, its not the type of juice you can finish in seconds so even though I like it I’m not gonna drink that whole bottle straight away, its gonna be a put away and finished off in several trips to the fridge. Would I buy it again? I know that pomegranate juice is good for you in ways that are unique to that fruit so for that reason plus its easier than munching on a real pomegranate and spitting the seeds everywhere. So yes, its pricey but you have to pay for quality.
