B Fresh Green Warrior Drink Review

This drink appeared on the shelves in Asda last year but the price tag, which was I think almost £3, put me off, but since they’re a bit more reasonably priced at £2 I decided to see what they’re about because strangely they appear on the shelf slap bang in the middle of the fresh vegetables section. Its quite weird seeing boxes and shelves of fresh veg and then 3 varieties of drinks right there. I know its a veggie drink but so are the other brands, I don’t know if it helps with sales or not, all I know is that the shelf is always full.

This drink, which needs vigorous shaking to get the true “Green Warrior” to awaken from his slumber, at first sip is very earthy and grassy and farm like, its like you’ve been playing rugby and just got tackled into the grass and mud. Its much more watery than most other veggie drinks and there really is no floaty bits of pulp anywhere to be felt or seen. The drink initially has that grass feel with a slight slight apple twang before it gets a whiff of bitterish earthy flavour before dying down into a veggie type taste that is slightly growing on me but not by much. I can’t really taste the ginger or much apple to be honest and heaven knows what this drink would taste like without them. But its a healthy veggie drink and like the rest its not meant to be a popularity contest for your tastebuds but the good it does to your insides. Overall, still a bit pricey compared to similar drinks some of which have more content and are only a pound but this one is good for the person that doesnt like bits in their drinks and prefers a thinner juice with good healthy ingredients.
