Gluten Free Corn Flakes Review
REVIEW
They look like Corn Flakes, they smell like Corn Flakes but do they taste like Corn Flakes? Well, if you take a handful out the good sized bag and munch them you’ll notice they’re everything like Corn Flakes texture wise and look wise but they’re just missing that last taste ingredient…it’s almost there. Its like tasting Sunny Delight now but remembering the old Sunny Delight from the 1990’s…it’s just not the same.
But with milk and a heap of sugar after a few spoonfuls you don’t really notice much difference and after a week it’s getting harder to taste the difference which is great because as all you Gluten Free sufferers no all to well, Gluten Free cereal has a taste of it’s own. I quite like some of the cereal like the Dove’s Farm Cereal Flakes but let’s be honest Gluten Free cereal tastes like no other cereal out there and it takes some getting used to. And after 2 weeks….well who needs regular Corn Flakes anymore?
So now the days of having to go down that aisle in the Supermarket (you know the one where nobody goes and the one you have to make a splash and dash to pick up your before someone you know sees you and then they say “Oh I didn’t know you were ill” and then you have to go into a whole 20 minute speech about what Gluten Free actually means and then you think Damn! Why didn’t I just say it was for a friend) are almost over as the day is almost here when Glutenacs can buy Gluten free cereal in the normal cereal isle side by side with regular cereal and feel no shame at the checkout counter buying miniature looking boxes of cereal that contain about 50 flakes.
